Questions
Is this the official IELTS test?
No. It is an independent practice test written by AIL teachers. The format, timing and question types follow the computer-delivered IELTS test, and scores are estimates to help you prepare.
How are Writing and Speaking marked?
By AI against the public IELTS assessment criteria, usually within a few minutes. You get a score and comments for each criterion. Pronunciation is estimated from your recording and is less precise than an experienced IELTS teacher.
How much does it cost?
A single full practice test is A$9.95. Passes cost A$59.95 for 30 days, A$99.95 for 90 days and A$199.95 for 12 months. Prices include GST and passes do not renew automatically.
Is there a free IELTS practice test?
Yes. Every account gets one free 15-minute practice in each skill, and the Writing Task 2 checker gives a free estimated score for one essay with no account.
